God is ADEQUATE, He's SUFFICIENT, He's MORE THAN ENOUGH! |
FIVE RULES FOR SUCCESS
1. Get a mental picture of yourself succeeding and then stamp it into your mind so that it can never be erased. Hold onto it, and never let it fade away. Your mind will develop this picture into a fact, never doubt the reality of it!
Prov 29:18 KJV Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Prov 29:18 NIV Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law.
Prov 29:18 LIV Where there is ignorance of God, crime runs wild; but what a wonderful thing it is for a nation to know and keep his laws.
Prov 29:18 AMP Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish ; but he who keeps the law [of God, which includes that of man] - blessed [happy, fortunate, and enviable] is he."
Phil 4:13 KJV I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Phil 4:13 AMP I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses inner strength into me; I am self sufficient in Christ's sufficiency].
2. If a negative thought about your ability ever enters into your mind, very deliberately voice out loud a positive statement you believe about your ability and this will cancel out the negative one.
Prov 18:21 NIV The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
Prov 23:7 KJV For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:
Matthew 12:35-37 KJV A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
2 Cor 6:4 NIV But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
2 Cor 6:5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;
2 Cor 6:6 By pureness, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
2 Cor 6:7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
2 Cor 6:8 By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;
2 Cor 6:9 As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;
2 Cor 6:10 As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
Paul here is using the words of the old song, accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative.
He is not saying he is not sorrowful, but he is saying he is always rejoicing.
3. Do not build barriers in your imagination. Cast down every thought you know to be contrary to your God given ability.
Difficulties should be seen for what they are. They really are inflated fear thoughts which you have allowed to develop.
2 Cor 10:3 NIV For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.
2 Cor 10:4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
2 Cor 10:5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
2 Cor 10:5 LIV These weapons can break down every proud argument against God and every wall that can be built to keep men from finding him. With these weapons I can capture rebels and bring them back to God and change them into men whose hearts' desire is obedience to Christ.
1 Cor 2:16 NIV "For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ.
4. Do not be awe struck or overcome by other peoples abilities or talents. Don't try to copy them.
You make the best you possible but a rotten anybody else.
Nobody else can be as an efficient you a you can.
Rom 8:37 NIV No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
More than conquerors the Greek word means over and above conquerors. The word describes someone who is super victorious, who wins more than an ordinary victory, but who is overpowering in achieving abundant victory. The language is not one of bragging or conceit, but of confidence in Christ's victory over death, hell and the grave.
Rom 8:35 LIV Who then can ever keep Christ's love from us? When we have trouble or calamity, when we are hunted down or destroyed, is it because he doesn't love us any more? And if we are hungry or penniless or in danger or threatened with death, has God deserted us?
Rom 8:36 No, for the Scriptures tell us that for his sake we must be ready to face death at every moment of the day--we are like sheep awaiting slaughter;
Rom 8:37 but despite all this, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ who loved us enough to die for us.
Rom 8:38 For I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can't, and life can't. The angels won't, and all the powers of hell itself cannot keep God's love away. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow,
Rom 8:39 or where we are--high above the sky, or in the deepest ocean--nothing will w ever be able to separate us from the love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ hen he died for us.
For the Christian who has been discouraged this powerful passage by Paul in Romans 8 35-39, it gives assurance of Christ's present love for us being active for us every moment of our lives here on earth.
5. At least ten times each day repeat these verses;
Rom 8:31 KJV What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? (Me!)
1 John 4:4 KJV Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Isa 26:3 NIV You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.
Phil 4:19 NIV And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
2 Cor 2:14 (ASV) But thanks be unto God, who always leadeth us in triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest through us the savor of his knowledge in every place.
You will rise or fall to the level o your confession or affirmation. Your words, when you are speaking His words are life.
John 6:63 NIV The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life.
